SQUASH AT Bridge of Allan

Squash is a fast, sociable and highly accessible sport, offering 45 minutes of fun, challenge and great exercise—all in a weather‑proof environment. 

     

At Bridge of Allan, players of all levels quickly feel part of a welcoming and active squash community. Our four beautifully maintained courts provide the perfect setting for both casual play and competitive development. 

     

With a proud history of producing national‑level junior, senior and masters players, Bridge of Allan continues to be a vibrant home for squash excellence.

JUNIOR SQUASH and COACHING   

      

Bridge of Allan has a thriving junior squash programme led by coaches Sophie and Katy, offering engaging coaching for all ages and abilities.  

Throughout the year we host fun, friendly tournaments that help juniors  test their skills, gain confidence and meet young players from across  

Scotland—building both ability and community.

TEAM SQUASH  

    

Being part of a squash team is a brilliant way to test yourself, enjoy camaraderie and grow your network.  

     

Bridge of Allan fields two teams in the East of Scotland Leagues and two in the Crieff & District Leagues, as well as friendly summer leagues,welcoming players who love competitive and social squash.

FOr those players that play for the teams, we have a team training session on a tuesday (which is run by volunteers).

SOCIAL SQUASH and LEAGUES  

     

Bridge of Allan runs a competitive ladder, giving players the  chance to challenge a wide range of opponents. THis RUNS on SPORTYHQ, and can be viewed here

     

Our popular social squash sessions take place on Mondays from 6:30–8pm  and Saturdays from 10–11:30am, offering fun, friendly, and  inclusive match play for all abilities.

TENNIS AT Bridge of Allan

Tennis is a wonderfully sociable, accessible sport—great fun, great exercise,  and playable in all conditions thanks to our all‑weather artificial clay courts and four exceptional natural clay courts, recognised among the best surfaces in Scotland.      

 

At Bridge of Allan, it’s easy to feel part of a friendly, active tennis community. The club has a proud history of excellence, consistently developing national‑level junior and senior players, and was where Jamie and Andy Murray first honed their skills before becoming Wimbledon champions. 

JUNIOR TENNIS and COACHING  

      

Bridge of Allan’s junior tennis scene is full of energy and enthusiasm.

 

Led by dynamic coach Adam Brown, our programme keeps young players active, inspired and improving fast.   

Throughout the year we run fun, friendly tournaments packed with energy and excitement, giving juniors the chance to compete, grow in confidence and make new tennis friends from across Scotland.

TEAM TENNIS & TOURNAMENTS  

      

Team tennis is thriving at Bridge of Allan, with three ladies’ teams and two gents’ teams competing in the Central Scotland Summer Leagues. 

​

Both teams are represented in Division 1 as well as lower divisions, delivering an excellent standard of tennis. We also field a mixed over‑55 team in the 

autumn and winter leagues to keep competitive tennis going all year round. 

      

The club proudly hosts two major open tournaments—the Bridge of Allan Open 

in June and the Central District Doubles in August—these bring a fantastic atmosphere to the club and are both highly regarded in Scottish tennis.

SOCIAL TENNIS and LEAGUES   

      

Social tennis at Bridge of Allan Sports Club is a welcoming, relaxed way for players of all abilities to enjoy the game. Our mix‑in sessions run every Saturday from 2–4pm and Wednesday from 9:30–11am, offering fun, friendly match play.

We’re also expanding our programme with beginner  

coaching and energetic cardio tennis sessions. Whether you're new to the sport or returning after a break, come along, join in, and enjoy great tennis

 in a supportive community.

Padel AT Bridge of Allan

Padel at Bridge of Allan Sports Club offers one of Scotland’s most enjoyable outdoor racket sport

experiences.

 

As one of the country’s early padel pioneers, we built our first court over a decade ago and have grown a vibrant, welcoming community around it.    

      

Our open‑air court sits in a stunning setting, making padel  here truly special on a sunny day. With strong demand, a dedicated coach, and thriving social play, we’re now planning to expand to two courts.

COACHING 

   

Padel coaching at Bridge of Allan Sports Club is led by our dedicated coach, Ava Mitchell, who offers high‑quality lessons for beginners and regular players. 

      

With individual padel coaching and group sessions available, Ava helps players improve quickly, build confidence, and enjoy Scotland’s fastest‑growing sport.

SOCIAL PADEL    

      

Padel at Bridge of Allan Sports Club has a lively social scene, highlighted by our popular Padel & Prosecco nights.  

      

Players of all levels enjoy relaxed mix‑in matches on our outdoor court before sharing a glass of prosecco. It’s the perfect way to meet others, 

have fun, and enjoy social padel.
