TENNIS AT BRIDGE OF ALLAN
Where people come to smash it!
Tennis is a wonderfully sociable, accessible sport—great fun, great exercise, and playable in all conditions thanks to our all‑weather artificial clay courts and four exceptional natural clay courts, recognised among the best surfaces in Scotland.
At Bridge of Allan, it’s easy to feel part of a friendly, active tennis community. The club has a proud history of excellence, consistently developing national‑level junior and senior players, and was where Jamie and Andy Murray first honed their skills before becoming Wimbledon champions.
TEAM TENNIS & TOURNAMENTS
Team tennis is thriving at Bridge of Allan, with three ladies’ teams and two gents’ teams competing in the Central Scotland Summer Leagues.

Both teams are represented in Division 1 as well as lower divisions, delivering an excellent standard of tennis. We also field a mixed over‑55 team in the
autumn and winter leagues to keep competitive tennis going all year round.
The club proudly hosts two major open tournaments—the Bridge of Allan Open
in June and the Central District Doubles in August—these bring a fantastic atmosphere to the club and are both highly regarded in Scottish tennis.
JUNIOR TENNIS & COACHING
Bridge of Allan’s junior tennis scene is full of energy and enthusiasm.
Led by dynamic coach Adam Brown, our programme keeps young players active, inspired and improving fast.
Throughout the year we run fun, friendly tournaments packed with energy and excitement, giving juniors the chance to compete, grow in confidence and make new tennis friends from across Scotland.
